Zia Heart Foundation is making a huge impact helping patients with Heart Ailment poor or rich alike. Thanks to the generosity of our generous community. Your support is igniting crucial progress. In the last 17 years specifically, since our philanthropic community started impacting and engaging directly with us through various means this hospital made significant progress in helping thousands of poor patients. Together, we can build on this and help develop our capacity to help save lives.
Zakat Fund
Every year from home and abroad, around BDT 2 million deposited in our Zakat account. This amount helped 4 to 7 hundred poor patients yearly, who could not pay their fees and costs. From 2 thousand to 30 thousand taka were given to each patient, who had to ask for help before discharge, as they are unable to pay their bills.
Foundation has a strong and transparent policy and process to scrutinise and approve from this fund. This fund is part of annual audit and a list of beneficiaries is published. Individual’s name of the Zakat payers list is not published and Sharia rules are followed. We are building on our experiences and practices of last 20 years. Whole amount is spent in the same year.

Sadaka/donation
Our Members, Patrons, community members and public, from home and abroad contributes towards medical costs, buying equipment, machineries, ICU, CCU beds, Scanners, Breathing machines etc.
It does not need any explanations that our facilities, theatres, lab, Emergency room and Ambulance service all are under equipped and needs improvement and upgrade, requires huge investment. This, not for profit organisation requires your earnest support. Please join us, follow our campaigns and take part, get involved and make difference to our community.

Dinajpur Health Waqf Account
In 2024 an Waqf is created under the name of Dinajpur Health Waqf, sole beneficiary of this is ZHF. With a value of a Mobile X-ray Machine and few hundred thousand Taka, initial amount of this Waqf (Endowment).
This is a Cash Deposit Waqf Account opened with IBBL, Baridhara, Dhaka Branch. This profit priority account derived from the Waqf Ordinance of Bangladesh Government, overseen by the Sharia Board of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC. No amount from its balance can be withdrawn or moved to any other account at any time, whatsoever.
Any one one can deposit any amount (in thousand’s multiple) into this account anytime. An annual dividend/profit of the account’s balance is disbursed directly into the Zakat account of the ZHF by IBBL.
